The cake I am going to share with you this week was made for a birthday last month, but as it was done so close to Christmas that I just hadn’t gotten round to blogging it yet.

Last week Tues I turned the big 25!! *queue the half way to 50 jokes* …I really wanted to write something deep & meaningful about passing this milestone in my life….BUT I’m drawing a blank lol. Hello all!! Hope you’re feeling well rested after the lovely long Jubilee Weekend we’ve had. I’ve certainly enjoyed it and have attended plenty of street parties, birthday parties and even watched a bit of her madge on the telly.
Last weekend, we celebrated my cousins birthday at Partyman World. Yes, a group of fully grown adults went to a kids playcentre and we had a blast! It was a proper old fashioned kiddies party; there were slides, treasure hunts & birthday cake!
I was charged with making the party favours for the goody bags (told you it was a proper kiddies party!). So I decided to make vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream & whipped chocolate ganache.
I got some great feedback, which is always lovely and I’m so glad my cousin enjoyed her day.
